Big breasts are great? Sometimes like that, sometimes like that, I would say. When it comes to styling questions, I often look with envy at friends who don’t have to deal with a large bust – because everything here needs to be well packaged. When it comes to summer dresses, I definitely can’t follow every trend. Fortunately, I now know exactly what suits me and which cuts I should avoid. Don’t get me wrong: Of course you can and should wear whatever you feel comfortable in! I just want to leave you with a few of my personal favorite tips.

Wear these summer dresses with a large bust in 2026

In summer, I feel most comfortable in dresses under which I can easily wear a bra – without the straps showing through and revealing anything unintentionally. I therefore consciously avoid certain cuts. Instead, I rely on models that highlight my bust and flatter my figure. Here are my absolute favorites for summer 2026.

#1 Fitted T-Shirt Dresses

Bras can easily be worn under T-shirt dresses – for me it’s an absolute must to feel completely comfortable. What I have learned, however, is that I have to go for fitted models. Otherwise, because of my large bust size, I quickly appear wider than I actually am. And I really don’t want that! The basic rule for me is to choose cuts that highlight the narrowest part of the body – the waist. How great that there are currently such beautiful dresses from H&M and Co. that are gathered at the side and cut just perfectly for my shape.

#2 Smocked waist dresses

Another trend that I like this summer is dresses with smocked details. Your big advantage: The elastic material hugs the body and leaves enough room for a large bust. Where other dresses are uncomfortably tight on the breasts, these models are perfect for my curves – an absolute must-have in my wardrobe! Psst… tops with smocked details have long since made their way into my summer wardrobe.

#3 Dresses with puff sleeves

Dresses with balloon and puff sleeves are a real highlight for me in summer – and best of all: you can easily wear a well-fitting bra underneath. The playful details make even simple cuts something very special because the sleeves cleverly draw attention to themselves. A great side effect for hot days: their wide cut means they stay wonderfully airy.

#4 A-line denim dresses

I’m also an absolute fan of denim dresses, which can be combined fantastically with sandals, boots or sneakers. They are perfect for the trendy cowgirl look that is currently taking over social media feeds. Given my large bust size, I prefer to go for a flattering A-line to cleverly draw the focus to the waist. Another important criterion: wide straps. The bra can be hidden under them invisibly – and the feeling of well-being is just right.

#5 Belted shirt dresses

Shirt dresses are also a smart choice for large busted women, don’t you think? My tip: Choose a model with an integrated belt, which allows you to perfectly shape the dress at waist level. Personally, I prefer to buy shirt dresses one size larger. Because for me there is nothing worse when it comes to styling than a dangerously tight button placket – and the constant worry that something will peek out unintentionally.

I prefer to stay away from these clothes

Shirt dress, T-shirt dress or the denim version – did you find the right model for you among my favorites? If not, feel free to write me a personal message! As much as I love summer dresses, there are cuts that I consciously stay away from (even if it sometimes hurts in terms of fashion). Slip dresses with sheer spaghetti straps definitely won’t end up in my shopping cart. In my opinion, they just look really great without a bra. But as much as I would like to celebrate the no-bra trend, it doesn’t work for me. I want secure support in everyday life and don’t want to feel uncomfortable when people look at my cleavage. The same goes for backless dresses. They’re beautiful, but I just haven’t found an invisible bra that gives me the support I need.
