When two people set off: the teacher Fred and the rebellious teenager Adam could hardly be more different. While Fred clings to their increasingly shaky but orderly life, Adam tries to escape his past of foster homes, school expulsions and juvenile detention at all costs. A rehabilitation program takes the two of them together on the Way of St. James to Santiago de Compostela. Between arguments, silence and unexpected turns of events, they are forced to face their problems – and in the process discover new strength in themselves and in others. But will that be enough to overcome their differences and achieve their goal?
