Anne (Sophie Marceau), in her mid-50s, is enjoying a self-determined everyday life for the first time since her children moved out, but the newfound peace only lasts for a short time. Her 23-year-old daughter Louise (Thaïs Alessandrin) returns to the family home after professional setbacks and a failed relationship.
When they return, the house comes to life again, old conflicts come to light, and mother and daughter have to redefine their relationship and roles. And as if that wasn’t enough, son Theo (Victor Belmondo) announces the biggest surprise: Anne is going to be a grandmother.
Between generational conflicts, self-doubt and new feelings, her previous self-image begins to waver. She is accompanied and at the same time put to the test by those around her, including her ex-partner (Vincent Elbaz) and close family members (Françoise Fabian, Alexandre Astier). Does Anne learn to open herself up to new perspectives in life? Life rarely goes according to plan, but it’s never too late to grow and rediscover yourself!
